Elon Musk’s plan to create an anti-“woke” chatbot on the platform Clubhouse has not gone as planned. After announcing his plan on Twitter, Musk was quickly criticized by many users who argued that the move was inappropriate due to Clubhouse’s privacy policies. Furthermore, Clubhouse cancelled the chatbot due to “early technical bugs.” It was also revealed that Musk’s team had not sought permission from the social media platform prior to setting up the chatbot. Many users were also unimpressed by Musk’s choice of words to describe the chatbot, with one user in particular calling it a “fascist chatbot.” At this time, it is unclear whether or not Musk will try to pursue this idea any further.
