On May 25, 2021, D.C. Attorney General Karl Racine filed a lawsuit against Amazon.com Inc for alleged discriminatory practices in its delivery service. According to the allegations, Amazon’s Prime service was unavailable in certain ZIP codes, predominantly in areas with high proportions of non-white residents. This is claimed to be in violation of local anti-discrimination laws. The lawsuit claims that this constitutes an “unlawful trade practice”. The D.C.
