The Department of Justice (DOJ) has reached a settlement agreement with former FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, best known as the ‘lovebirds’ caught up in a scandal related to anti-Trump text messages.
Strzok and Page became well-known figures during Donald Trump’s presidency when their private text exchanges, containing disparaging remarks about Trump, were made public. This incident occurred during the investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 Presidential Election.
