Kalorik is recalling four models of its air fryers sold at Walmart, Target, and Kohl’s stores nationwide due to a burn hazard. The recalled air fryers can overheat, posing a risk of burns to consumers. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reports that more than 300,000 of the air fryers were sold.
The models of the recalled Kalorik air fryers include: JK- 26253RD, FT 42139 BK, FT 42139 SS, and FT 42139 BKST. They can be identified by the model number, which can be found on a label located on the underside of the fryer.
Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled air fryers and to contact the company to receive a free replacement unit. Kalorik is offering consumers with recalled air fryers a full refund. Please see the company’s website for more information.
